Recent School Fun...

We are loving being back at school, and amazingly I haven't died yet from getting up 4 days a week at 6 am! ;) But, hey we are on Spring Break next week, so I am really looking forward to that! Hopefully, my allergies will calm down so I can sleep in! Actually..we have tons of plans so who am I kidding? :) Oh, well. Sadly, too, I am not sleeping in much even when we are out of school because of baseball, dentist appointments, and other not so fun stuff. Summer's coming though!

Here are a few highlights from some recent school events:

Jackson posing at home showing off his "picture day" outfit...
My St. Patrick's Day rainbow (well, really tiedyed) cupcakes...
Jackson in his St. Patty's Day shirt complete with his Show N Tell choice of the day...
As you can tell his classroom was demolished by the leprechaun while they were downstairs! What a mess!! (They did this last year, too, and the kids JUST love it! What a great idea!)

And, here is Preston in his shirt (he had "school" that day, too). I had to post it to see if you can tell his shirt came from the girl's section. I had a hard time finding him one (and of course saw tons on clearance after the fact at other stores). Anyway, he didn't know the difference and Paul was ok with it.

And, Jackson was very excited on PJ day to show off his Wii pajamas as he calls them...
I never tuck their shirts in (sorry, Earl) :) I wish I did more often though, but they go potty and they never stay in! But, this day I did (I think because for some reason alot of Jax's shirts are long lately because to keep the sleeves from being so short I had to go up a size). Anyway, Jackson said, "Take a picture of me because I look like dad!" :)
I cannot believe in just a few short months both of my kids will be going to "school." hmm...I am not sure (although that won't be making it 'even' to Preston) I can continue to blog much longer once my plate becomes that full!! At least it will be fun!

And, last but not least..here is Jackson with his two favorite bears he chose to take to school for "Bear Day." Both of them came from Scottish Rite when he was diagnosed..in fact, one of them is the JDRF bear. I like how blogger put this one last because it reminded me that even though diabetes tries to stop us..including interrupting 4K...in the end, we will win. Why? Because God is our coach in this game! :)
