Dyeing Easter Eggs

Late Friday night we dyed Easter eggs! It was a blast! The most fun we've had as a family in a while! Preston of course found the stickers in the kit, and he was all about them!
Jackson monkeyed around and did a good job painting and coloring his eggs. He even wrote his name on them with the magic crayon, and it turned out very good! He doesn't need any help writing it anymore.

Dad had fun, too! He even admitted to it! He took the job quite seriously! It was so cute to see them all interacting together like that.

Here we are with our final products! Now, if only we ate boiled eggs. Only on salad at this house. And, like big JPM said, that's alot of salad!

I just love the expression of excitement Preston has on his face below. His personality is really so full of life! Which is what Easter is all about: life!
Jackson came home this week with my favorite craft by far of a cave, a boulder, and an angel. He and I have been discussing the resurrection and why we celebrate Easter!
As you hunt for your eggs, remember the real meaning behind Easter!
