After CocoCay, we were headed to Nassau. We were supposed to get up early and go spend another similar relaxing day on the beach on Blackbeard's Cay, but Paul was too sunburnt. He just couldn't do it. So, we instead got off the ship with no particular plans. If you've ever been to downtown Nassau (if you can call it that), you are swarmed with people that I think are trying to take advantage of you. Once we took a horse carriage ride (if you can call it that) around the town on a "tour" that stunk. So, I was too scared to spend too much time there. We ended up crossing our fingers that we wouldn't be murdered or kidnapped forever and paid to take a ferry (it's scary to do something unrelated to Royal Caribbean there) over to Atlantis and Paradise Island. The boat was way too rickety for my taste, but Paul said we would make it across. :)
Atlantis is such a beautiful hotel. I'd toured it before, but I forgot how pretty and intricate the inside is.
Once we got over there, I went to the restroom while Paul snuck to the roulette table in the casino. I had firmly said no gambling since last time we went to Beau Rivage it ruined the trip! But...I will give him credit this time! I came out the bathroom $200 richer! He was itching to go back, but don't worry girls! I pulled him away!
