Please Pray For...

Four children who I don't know personally but have read about their stories lately through the blogs of other people I know who do know them or through friends on facebook...

1-Baby Stellan: When his mommy was pregnant with him, he had a heart defect. Through God's miraculous works, he was born and the defect seemed to have disappeared. A short while ago, he got sick and needed a breathing treatment as many children do in the hospital. They had to repeat the treatment to get better results, and that second treatment threw his heart back into the stage it was in utero. So, right now he is really sick, and his heart isn't functioning well.

2-Baby Brandon: He was just born, and when the doctor broke the mommy's water somehow the placenta was punctured because it was abnormal. The mommy had to be rushed to a C-section and Brandon was born blue and not breathing and had to have CPR. Right now all that is keeping him alive are machines, and his kidneys are not functioning. I also think he is having seizures. Both mommy and baby lost alot of blood and had to have transfusions. Brandon is also now bleeding internally, and the parents are having to face turning the machines off.

3-Ethan: Ethan is a an autistic toddler whose mommy I went to school with. From what I hear, he is truly a textbook case of autism, although the mommy doesn't seem to blame immunizations. Also pray for his big brother, Landon. Their family is impacted by all of this, but it is most hard for Landon to understand why is brother is "different."

4-Hodges: This baby I have been praying for for a while. He has a rare disease called SMA which I must admit I don't know a whole lot about. Basically the life expectancy of children with this can be very short. His parents already lost another son at the age of four months to the disease. He also had an older sister (who doesn't have the disease.) Right now Hodges is showing great strength (the disease affects your muscle tone I think) and an even better smile! He is adorable! However, he still has the disease and his family needs your prayers.

All of these children are just weighing heavy on my heart tonight. Please lift them up.
