First, I wanted to share Jackson's bedtime prayer from tonight...
"Dear God, thank you for blessing me and my family. Thank you for loving me and...wait a minute I know this one. Okay. Dear God, please forgive me for the vegetables, the corn, the carrots, the peas, the trees, and the lettuce. Also, thank you for the ground, the grass, and the flowers. Amen. Mommy, was that a good one?"
I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry! I think the most hilarious part was the trees being a vegetable (but, his favorite thing to do right now is make rhymes so I am thinking that he probably was rhyming peas and trees). And, then the other funny part is that he doesn't eat half of those "vegetables!" HAHA!
I also had to put in another brag. After all, Erica says it's OK to brag on here! :)
Jackson is doing so good at baseball! Seriously! He is playing first base! They actually put him there because he is SO quick to get the ball and run after it and just pays such good attention. I mean he sometimes does the typical 4-year old "let's just play in the dirt" thing that half the team (especially those little girls!:)) does. But, as soon as he realizes there's some action he's all over it!
I am so proud of the little boy he is becoming! Another mom had put on her blog, that when her kids turn 5 (which Jackson will be this year), it is going to hit her hard because that is when 25 percent of their entire time at home with you has already passed. That thought was a real kick in the stomach. :( I don't want to think about it! :(

How sweet! We say a bedtime prayer every night while I am rocking Phoenix before bedtime. I wonder what his prayers will be once he can say them? Jackson made his prayer rhyme....how cute! I cannot believe Jackson is going to be five! Tiem flies!
