Getting ready for the party!

Here are some pictures from right before the birthday party we had for Preston Sunday...

I cannot believe Aunt Malia actually snapped this one right before he did his famous "smile." Yay! Finally! He gets his 2-year pictures done Wednesday, and I am so afraid all of them are going to come out with that famous smile!? (Note: Sorry for me having too much blush on! That's what I get for rushing when applying my make-up! I look like Raggedy Ann!)

The Backyardigans cake...this was a hard one for sure! My only goal was that he recognized the characters. And, he did! Jackson kept complimenting me on it. And, when Preston woke up and saw it, he said, "I wuv dat cake." Mission accomplished! All the back-breaking work was worth it! ("Riding the Range" is one of their favorite episodes where the Backyardigans are cowboys.)
