Today was Donuts for Dad at Jackson's school, and it was so much fun! Although Jackson informed me I wasn't allowed to attend as the day was just for daddies, no mommies, I was of course on the sidelines helping since I'm the room mom. So, I got to take pictures to share! Yay!
If you see a large red paper object on Paul's shirt, it is the paper tie Jackson made for him to wear. It took some urging to get the dads to put them on, but they obliged finally. :)

It was so cute. The children had answered some questions about their daddies, and it was so adorable to read their responses. I didn't get a chance yet to see it all since Paul took his "crafts" with him, but I did get to read these fill-in sentences Jackson had answered. My Dad and I like to eat: frosted flakes
My Dad and I like to go: to Maw Maw Mitchell's house (you'll love that answer I am sure, Connie!)
Paul was so impressed watching Jackson at work in his class. He just kept bragging on how well he behaved (told ya! :)) and how mature he was. Paul kept saying, too, that he thought Jackson had the best personality out of everyone. Dad! You shouldn't brag like that! :):)
It was such a blessing to be able to see them together like that. There was also a poem called "Walk a little slower, Daddy..." And, I'll have to type the words to that later. It will bring tears to your eyes. Some of you have probably heard it before, but it really hit home with me because Paul does walk so fast all the time, I really felt like it described their relationship so much!Thank you, Lord, for this wonderful memory we made today!
