Is it really over?

Here is my final posting about our wonderful, fun-filled Disney trip.

Here we were getting ready last night to watch Mickey's Dreams Come True show on the stage in front of the castle. The boys loved it! Let me mention here that the characters are really what the boys liked most. You'd think it was the rides. But, it wasn't. Which is why Disney is SO different than the county fair or Six Flags. The rides are just the icing on top of the cake. You should have seen Preston's face during the parade when he was waving to "Goopy." Or Jackson jumping up and down when he spotted "Pee Pan" on a float (Peter Pan.)

I LOVE how they light up the castle at night. I just had to insert this picture because it is my favorite.
And..here is Jackson at 9 am this morning (he typically is up NO later than 8am). We had to force him out of bed. He was so tired from all the fun. He knew we were headed home today so maybe he thought if he didn't wake up the magic would never end. Baby, I wish!

Until next year...Goodbye Magic Kingdom!

Did you guys stay on the property? If so, what resort.
We've only done the value resorts (this weekend will be at Pop Century), but I'm hoping to upgrade to a moderate resort for my 30th birthday trip and am looking for opinions if you have any. Glad to see you all had such a wonderful trip.

We've stayed at All-Stars a long time ago (well I did with my sister and nephew) and then Paul and I have done Port Orleans Riverside alone and with children, and then also Wilderness Lodge with children. (all three on property) That's the only way to go if you ask me! :) Of course my favorite was Wilderness Lodge but it is a deluxe. We got it discounted last January, but this year we were on a tighter budget so we still got a deal and went with Port Orleans Riverside (moderate). Paul likes that one the best I think. I want to try some other moderates but Paul likes familiarity. My girlfriend stays at Pop Century all the time though and likes it. My goal once I work full time again is to stay on the monorail at Polynesian!
