Saturday afternoon I took the two little JPMs to the baseball field at Ola Elementary School near our house. My agenda was to just go over home base, first, second, and third bases with Jackson, and the concept of runs. I was worried a) he wouldn't get it and b) I would be a horrible teacher having never played baseball or softball myself! :) But, he really caught on to the concept and we all three had alot of fun!

As you can see the field is just very rudimentary and there weren't good markers for the bases. I also walked out without our bat, and we don't have a tee. So, one of us cupped the ball in the palm of our hand while the other hit it off the homemade tee (our hand) with their hand. We were quite resourceful!
"Throw me a ball, Mom! I'm ready!"
Our first "real" practice is this Tuesday evening! Can't wait!
