Christmas Day at Gigi's

It is very important to me that we make it to Gigi's each Christmas Day. Although on Christmas Eve, when I am tired and wishing we could all have a lazy, sleep-in kind of day (yes, my kids would sleep in even on Christmas Day if we let them :)), I am dreading having to run places on Christmas Day. Gigi lives alone, and I know she looks so forward to us visiting on holidays. She goes to so much trouble cooking and preparing for all of us (see how she decorates her dining room in the pictures?). So, I am so glad we are able to visit and celebrate with her. I sure hope we brighten her day as much as we hope to each year!
Plus, it is a great time to catch up with our niece and nephew and hear about what Santa brought them. And, Jackson and Preston enjoy telling Maw Maw and Paw Paw all about their Santa goodies.
Well, you'd think that would wrap up Christmas! But, not yet! I still have Christmas with my mom to blog about. Stay tuned for sure! You don't want to miss seeing what Nicholas got from Santa!
