Wow! What a busy weekend! Where to start?!
I added the pictures in a funky order, and I am too tired to try to move them around so we'll go in reverse order! :)
Tonight, we celebrated Labor Day with a cookout at our house with Mista Joe, Goal, and Shane. :) You'll remember them from the Myrtle Beach post. We ate way too much (and drank too much!) But, we all had a wonderful time! We threw the football, squirted the kids with water guns, and just sat and talked.
Preston was excited to eat on the screen porch. Thanks, Erica! I found those individual packages of green beans and corn at Wal-Mart! He loves both. Oh, and if you don't check I did. They are in the safe recyclable plastic unlike the disposable plastic tubs of Gerber baby food and Mott's applesauce! :) Yay! As you can see, Jackson was very excited to have company. And, he loved splashing in the pool. I love fall weather and pumpkins patch visits and all that, but I must admit I am sad to think it is almost time to put away the pool. And, High Falls Water Park and Atlanta Beach close after today. :( The summer went by so fast!
Then, Sunday night we went to Eleisha (Ms. Leesha) and Matt's house for a cookout! I work with Eleisha at Moye's, and she is so so sweet enough to babysit for us sometimes. The boys adore her!!!! She invited some of the Moye's crew over to eat. It was the best grilled chicken I have ever eaten! And, their new cozy house is so beautifully decorated. Uh, and clean. As Jackson told me in the bathroom. He told me their floors were cleaner than ours. Yes, he is my child. :( Eleisha was running a little late in the picture below and probably will never speak to me again for posting this since she didn't fix her hair. :) See how pretty the house is though?

Then, before all that...we went shopping for Jackson a big boy bike! His birthday isn't until late October. We were planning to get him a big boy bike for his 4th birthday. But, next week he is participating (anyone want to sponsor him? :) ) in a school-wide fundraiser Bike-A-Thon. So, he could have ridden his scooter since he didn't have a bike, but I really wanted him to have a bike like everyone else. So, we surprised him by taking him out shopping for one this weekend.
