"Ladies and Gentlemen, I Now Bring This PTO Meeting To Order!"

Preston and I attended our first PTO meeting today! It was interesting getting us all out the door where it mattered if Preston's diaper was changed and whether he was wearing his PJs still. But, we made it! (He's been running errands with me in his PJs..too cute!)

I thought this picture was too cute of him sitting so "big boy" like in the adult chairs snacking on his "cookie cereal" waiting on the meeting to start. He did rather well considering. He liked to play with the papers, and he really enjoyed the 4-year olds that sang a little song for us. (One kid cried the whole time, and Preston just stared looking rather wondrous.) Preston and I are only on one committee (yes, I am not overextending myself too terribly much). We are helping with the preschool fall festival this October. And, Preston will get to dress up and join in on the activities, too. And, we also got to join Jackson for a Chick-fil-A Biscuit PTO breakfast prior to the meeting. That was neat getting to see how comfortable Jackson was in his school surroundings. He really acted "at home" and seems to be adjusting SO well. He barely even tells me bye now when I drop him off. He learned a song today about a "bear hunt" during music that he really likes and sings alot now. I believe Preston was upset about having his picture made below and I think Jackson was "ordering" him to say cheese or something like that. Whew! It was early! I don't remember! :)
