Today at school, Jackson had the best day yet! He was so thrilled when I picked him up about all that happened. They were learning about Clifford the Big Red Dog this week. So, he had to wear a red shirt and take in a stuffed animal for a dog show! He took this cute little brown dog Paul's mom got him before he was even born, so that was pretty sentimental. Then, I about peed my pants when I peeked in the door right before they dismissed him only to see him wearing these dog ears while sitting "criss-cross applesauce" as he would say listening to a story. I just had to post this picture. It took me a minute to figure out what he was wearing! They were hilarious! He made them he said. (Colored circles/spots are glued onto the ears.) It was so touching to see him sitting there all peaceful and calmly just like all the other kids. Sometimes it is easy to worry when they act up so much at home about how they will be at school. But, he is doing great! (keep reading)Jackson got five stickers and got to visit the surprise box today! I was having trouble getting out of him if he missed a sticker one day. But, obviously he hasn't. He must have gotten a sticker (they get one when they are good) each day of school because it takes five to visit the surprise box and there have only been five days of school. YAY! for Jackson. I am so proud of him. He is doing so well! Below he is holding up the spinning tops he chose out of the box. He was so proud of himself. And, he was so well behaved all in all today. School really seems to be helping him learn his boundaries and how to be responsible for his behaviors. I am so glad we enrolled him when we did. What a blessing!
