Mommy, Mommy, It's Mrs. Cherwyl and Mrs. Melissa!!!"

Tonight we had Jackson's Open House at The Sharon School for 3-year old kindergarten! He starts school next Tuesday, and he will go every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am-11:30am. (Yes, Preston is very ticked off for having to start getting up that early! Uh, well, Mommy, too!)

But it is going to all be worth it! You can see how much fun Jackson had at Open House and the excitement he is trying so hard to contain! It was picturesque to say the least. I had imagined this day over and over and wondered how it would go. And, I left a very proud parent knowing that this year for him is really going to be awesome and a great learning experience.

The title of the post is what Jackson said when he saw his teachers. He is shown above with them. He knew their names from a postcard they had sent him in the mail "inviting" him to Open House. He has been looking forward to this for weeks! Mrs. Cheryl (the blonde) is his teacher, and it turns out she and her son did soccer with us last season! What a small world! And Mrs. Melissa (the brunette) is the teacher's aide, and she and Jackson formed a bond rather quickly. She couldn't believe he ran up and hugged her the minute he saw her.

It was all so typical...Jackson showing his outgoing personality and bonding with the teachers quickly...and me, well nothing's changed here. Still the overachiever...I was only there for an hour, and you guessed it you're looking at the new room mom! (Although I am glad there are two I believe total :) )
