Chris is back!

Last year Santa sent an elf to our house to watch over the kids to make sure they behaved and to report back to Santa all that he saw. We named him Chris. And, I came home tonight from our Thanksgiving festivities to see he is back again this year! Yay! I found him in the middle of our dining room table, and as usual it appears he has been up to no good while we were gone. :) He got into the cookies and made a mess! I can't wait for Jackson to see what a mess he made. Jackson will be excited he is back. He is a very special elf you see. At night he flies back to the North Pole to give his report to Santa, and then when he returns for the next day you'll never know where he'll land or what he might get into while you are sleeping. And we can't touch him either, but we can talk to him and send Santa our special wishes. Welcome back, Chris!

(NOTE: If you have no idea what I am talking about, google Elf on a Shelf and you'll see. Or you can visit your local Hallmark store. I think they carry the elves. They come with a book that explains all of this to your children. My mom got us one last year, and it is just the cutest invention. Also, please note I cannot remember if our elf is named Chris or Christie :), so this post might be updated later when Jackson corrects me. :))
