Wednesday, my Granddaddy turned 80 years old! What an accomplishment! To live 80 years and be a strong, Christian, respected, responsible, admirable man. He hasn't been feeling too well, so we did not get to do a large party as we originally planned, but after I got off work Wednesday my dad and my family went up to visit him in Morrow to eat cake and watch a DVD I had compiled from the 80 years he has lived of pictures. It really made me feel alot closer to him making the DVD and seeing all about his life. I had pictures of him from one year old till present day. Some of them were from his time in combat in the Korean War. He actually has pictures of his friends in active combat, some slain right next to him. My Granddaddy has always been a friend to everyone he meets, and he has so much to be proud of. I love you, Granddaddy! Happy Birthday!
