Oh No! and Oh Wow!

Oh, No! Preston has an ear infection. Poor guy. We knew he was sick with a cold when he started "barking" when he coughed. But, we didn't know how sick until his temperature reached 104 degrees tonight! (rectally which is 1 degree higher than oral but still!) He is glad to have his new "goo medsen" (good medicine) Amoxicillin on board tonight as he sleeps I am sure. Say a little prayer that the Lord takes away all his pains tonight and that he gets lots of rest!

And now for the "Oh, Wow!" part. He was of course weighed tonight at the after hours doctor's office. WOW! My little porkchop tipped the scales at 30 pounds!!! (with clothes and shoes so you can subtract 2 pounds) But, still 28 pounds! If you take a look at him, you'd never guess that. We are raising such strong, thick men here! They should always be able to defend themselves! Wow!

All in all, he did great at the doctor's. He also showed alot of maturation tonight much to my dismay. He was happy to show the doctor his belly, let them hear the bones in his chest, and show them his ears. He'd point to them and say, "Right der." (right there) He was rather excited, too, to realize they handed out "wolpops" (lollipops) at the end of his visit.
