Disney Does It Again!

Last night I took the kids (yes, I, not we) took the kids downtown to Philips Arena for Disney on Ice Worlds of Fantasy. Paul had to work, but I wasn't completely alone. Thank goodness! Angela, Joe, and Angela's niece and sister went with us. (Angela works at Moye's.) A HUGE thank you to Angela for getting us the tickets. When I paid her for them, I must admit I thought they were kind of pricey. But, much to my amazement when I arrived I realized they were 3rd row center stage!!!! We could almost touch the characters!
As usual, Disney never half does anything! It was really, really good and worth the trip up there for sure. I only wish McQueen and TowMater could have stayed on stage longer. When they exited, Preston started crying. He kept saying, "Mo cas" (aka more cars). I wondered how well the boys would sit through it, but they were glued to their seats the two hours! They loved it!

Jackson was especially excited about his new stuffed animal of Mickey Mouse. He of course slept with it last night. Preston on the other hand is still afraid of stuffed animals.????

As you can see, Preston picked up on the applause really quickly.

Here's our buddy, McQueen!

I hope I can save up for next year again to stay that close to the ice. It was a great night and full of memories I will hold close forever. I always miss Daddy on nights like that, but at the same time there is something about those special moments that I share with just me and the boys. I am not sure why, but for some reason it really makes me feel close to them.
