Whew! We're Exhausted!

We went today to do more pictures! Yes, more pictures. I am addicted to them. Seriously.

In my defense, it was "time" for pictures. I am precise about doing them at certain ages. Preston was late for his 20 month portraits, and it was time for Jackson's 4 year portraits.

If you have young children, you know how rewarding it can be to see the finished product, yet how much work it is to actually go have the pictures made.

We had them made at a lady's house who sets up the studio in her garage. What I didn't know is that it was in her garage, and that means it was HOT! I already break a sweat during pictures just from the stress of it all! We burned up! :)

Jackson did pretty good, but we are entering the "deer in headlights, cheesey smile face" stage. Preston wasn't having any part in it at all! He said "go dat way" (towards our car) and "go car" (go to the car) over and over. Thankfully, she was able to snap a few shots anyway. It is just the age for not many pictures. I remember that with Jackson. And, let me tell you it is easier to get Congress to decide on a bailout plan than it is to get both boys in the same picture looking at the camera at the same time!!!

What you see below are a few of my favorites. These are completely unedited or retouched. That will come later. Once they are all completed I will post a link to them here for you to see.

After all the drama, it still warms my heart to see my little muchkins' faces light up the screen. They still turned out good, and it was worth the sweat! :)
