Wet and Wild!

And, I'm not referring to the water park in Orlando, Florida! I am talking about our trip to the Georgia National Fair this past Sunday in Perry, GA. We made a day of it! And it either misted rain or poured rain on our heads almost the whole time! Thanks so much to Sr. JPM who usually rushes us at stuff like this. He really spent the entire time giving the boys a day full of memories, fast rides, and family fun! We got there at 2:30 pm and closed the place down! We were waiting on the fireworks and laser show they do at 9:30 pm. (We all were probably ready to go a little before that. We were exhausted!)

We had so much fun though!

Jackson had wanted to do the swings at the Henry County Fair, but I was too scared. He was tall enough, but they seemed so big. Plus, you hear of those chains breaking all the time. But, they had some Jr. size ones at this fair he was just big enough to ride. He loved them! He actually rode them twice! I cried. I am such a cry baby. But, it just didn't seem right seeing him go that fast all by himself without me or Paul.
This is one of those rides that goes around and around, and your turn the table to make it go faster. It was my favorite!!!! Jackson was crying by the end though. Uh-oh. Turns out little Preston inherited my lungs on fast rides. Jackson said he couldn't hear and was covering his ears by the end of it. I apologized for being too loud. If you have ever riden a ride like this with me, you know I squeal really loud! (Shane Plunkett can tell you all about it!) I have always been loud like that since a child. Guess it's time to grow up! Jackson's ear can't handle it! And, Preston was louder than me I think. He loved it! It kept knocking them over where they couldn't even sit up straight. But, yet they still wanted more!
But, it was still a jam-packed busy day full of fun! Just the way I like it! (Sorry, Paul! At least you're done till next October!)

(Oh, and by the way...for President Bush to be doing such a horrible job there sure were alot of people there!!! You would have never known that the economy was so bad! I don't want this blog to ever be political..so that's all I'll say about that! I was shocked though to see so many people out at such an expensive event!)

Thanks, Dad, for taking us to the fair!!!
