Field Trip! It was at Southern Belle Farms (yes, this makes our third trip there this fall!) I didn't know Jackson's class was going there until after we had already been twice. Anyhow, it was alot of fun, but I must also say ALOT of work! I had Preston, too, and it was really too much for me to handle alone. But, we made it and still had fun!
We started out doing a hayride with Jackson's class and Mrs. Cheryl, his teacher. Behind him is Brody, one of his friends.
In case you didn't go outside today early, it was FREEZING!! I mean freezing! Mostly because of the wind. The kids will probably be sick by next week! We were so cold, and our noses were running!
But, that didn't mean we didn't have time to pick out our pumpkins. Each child got one and so did the parents. So, I gave Preston mine. They loved picking them out. The parents were writing the children's names on them afterwards. Of course Jackson wanted to do it himself. He wrote "JM", but I figured this would be a great opportunity here to brag that Jackson hasn't turned four yet but can almost write his name ALL BY HIMSELF! He still needs a little help with the "C" and the "S" but the rest he has got down!

We did the small corn maize while we were there, too. We also got to see the horses, goats, and cows. Preston was scared of them all. Then, we got to see Belle, the cow, being milked. That was quite neat and interesting! I thought to myself the kids may never drink milk again after seeing that!
Thank goodness they did have this small heater stand that we could warm up next to. At least it did feel like fall. There was no doubt about which season it was! :)
