Mom's Night Out!

Thanks to my third mom in this wonderful life, Gail, I got to go to a Mom's Night Out Christmas Party Thursday night with my meetup group! It was SO much fun! We met up at our friend, Shawna's house, in Jackson, ate, drank, played games, and they also had a ugly Christmas sweater contest. I actually recently gave away my old out-of-date Christmas sweater to Goodwill, so I didn't participate. But, you can see from the pictures below many of them did!

And here are the ugly sweater contestants. I kept telling them I would still wear some of those! I guess I had no idea how old I really am! Joy in the royal blue won!
If you ever meet Linda, you will see she is hilarious! Here she is posing for us! This was not too long after she accidentally ate some bacon-wrapped scallops (well, almost ate), and then informed us she was allergic! That was scary! Drunken CPR might not go over too well.

It was such a fun evening with a really great group of women. I am glad I have friends who are also mommies of preschoolers to share in the joy and trials of this period in our lives! Thanks, ladies!
