Party All Night Long!

Well, sort of. The kids had a pajama party this morning with Santa at the baby gym we are members of. But, it wasn't during the nighttime..just during the daytime. ;) But, it was cute to see them in their night apparel. They love playing there, especially Preston.

The kids got to visit with Santa privately and spend quite a lot of time I thought compared to other places we have visited Santa. It was great! But, most important to mention I thought was how Preston was not afraid! Jackson's 2 year old Santa picture was talked about for years! He screamed! Preston just walked right up and with my help said, "I wike Thomas Train and cas (cars), too." And, most hilariously, he at first said, "Tank ou (thank you)...Bye, Sanna!" Then, a minute later, he said, "Bye, Snowman!" HAHA! I guess it does get confusing keeping all that stuff straight for a one-year old!
Jackson did great, too. Except he has it in his head that ALL he wants is a remote control rocket!? First I heard of this was last week when all of our shopping was over. So, I looked for one still and cannot find such a thing. I told him that Santa might not be able to find that because I've never seen one. He replied, "Don't worry about it, Moma. Santa's got it on the sleigh." Oh, no! :(
The kids also got to do a handprint painting craft as you can see below. I love crafts! They do, too!

It was a great time!
But, I do have to admit I am having trouble keeping Jackson remembering the true meaning of Christmas. I love the magic of Christmas that comes from memories of my days believing in Santa, but I never want that to be his main focus. If you know of a good cartoon movie that tells the Christmas story about Jesus's birth, please let me know. I'd kind of rather that one be memorized than Polar Express if you know what I mean! :)
