Tonight we went to go visit our beach buddies, Mista Joe and Goal. (Joe and Gail.) :) They have a huge Christmas village we were just dying for the kids to see. Plus, we had a few Christmas presents for them and Uncle Shane, too. :)
Here is Preston opening one of his gifts. He got a stuffed McQueen and a book and then a "snot rod" race car from the movie, too. It is so cute. He HATES stuffed animals and has never slept with anything before but his "piwwow" (pillow). But, tonight he is sleeping with his little stuffed McQueen. He told me, "I wuv Whitenin King." (I love Lightning McQueen.)
Here is Jackson checking out the village. Note, this is only PART of the village. A small part. It is huge! And awesome! I really want to do something like this at our house! But, I tell you it looks like a lot of work. Way to go, Joe and Gail!
Here is Jackson with his really, really, really fast motorcycle! He also got a Diego activity pad. He has already used up the stickers, practiced with his scissors, and the glue.

I cannot believe I have known Joe and Gail nearly all my life! It is so great to keep in touch with people that long. They really get to know you, and boy do they know me!? :) And, thank goodness they accept me just the way I am. It is nice to feel so comfortable around people. After opening our gifts, we went out to eat at the old train depot in Covington, too. That was alot of fun! The kids were exhausted after a long day, but they did great!
